Do you offer sessions for life milestones like maternity, gender reveals, or anniversaries?
yes! every big moment that grows out of love is worth capturing. from your first baby to anniversaries, i aim to document the story behind the moment, not just the moment itself.
Where do sessions take place?
all sessions are outdoors at scenic locations in and around Redmond/Seattle. i can suggest spots or we can use your favorite location!
What should we wear or bring?
i always recommend natural soft colors (whites, beige, brown,...) flowy clothing like blouses, dresses or pants always looks amazing! anything jeans is also great! try not to wear anything neon, crazy patterns or anything with logos.
props, heirlooms, or anything meaningful to your story can make the session feel personal and unique. i’ll help you integrate them naturally so it feels effortless and true to your life.
Can we reschedule if something comes up?
absolutely! life happens — i’ll work with you to find a new time that works best. the first reschedule is free if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. (excludes emergencies)
Do you travel outside of Washington?
yes! i’m happy to travel outside washington state as long as travel and housing costs are covered.
Can you explain the difference between Love Story sessions and other types of photography?
love story sessions are all about capturing the real, in-between moments — the laughter, quiet glances, and little gestures that tell your story. it’s not about stiff poses or forced smiles. other sessions, like traditional portraits, focus more on individual milestones or posed shots. with love stories, i follow the natural flow of your life, like a movie scene you’re living in.
Can I include my family, kids, or pets in a Love Story session?
absolutely! your love story isn’t just about two people — it’s about everyone and everything that your love created. whether it’s your dog, your kids, or your parents.
How far in advance should we book?
i recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends or seasonal milestones. that way, we can secure your preferred date and location, and you can feel confident your story will be captured exactly as you imagine it.
